What Happened
\n<\/strong>Early morning at CVF Field brought bright sunshine, no clouds, and no wind!<\/em> Event Manager Mark Lipp<\/strong> was (as expected) meticulously prepared and owned the event from start to finish. There were two classes, T-28 with six pilots and Unlimited with four. The weather was very cooperative with only light breezes and nothing to prevent all heats in both classes from completing.<\/p>\n

The T-28s flew first and set a pretty high bar with respect to excitement, near misses, and close finishes. But then the Unlimited pilots took to the air and pretty much matched the T-28s but at about twice the speed!<\/p>\n

All in all, the event was very exciting with no midair collisions and only a couple downed models.<\/p>\n

Prizes were awarded to the top three scorers in each class. Here\u2019s a list of all registered pilots and the classes they registered in. The top three finishers are noted:<\/p>\n
