Findlay Toyota Center
We have secured the Findlay Toyota Center (Prescott Valley) for indoor flying.
The scheduled dates are as follows:
January 11, 2024 – 10:00 am till Noon
January 18, 2024 – 10:00 am till Noon
January 25, 2024 – 10:00 am till Noon
February 13, 2024 – 10:00 am till Noon
February 27, 2024 – 10:00 am till Noon
March 5, 2024 – 10:00 am till Noon
April, 2024 – TBD
May, 2024 – TBD
Additional dates may be added after the facilities’ schedule for 2024 fills out.
If for some reason we get canceled if another event is booked, we may be able to reschedule based on availability. The center is not charging us anything for the use of the facility, so if a paying event is booked, we will be cancelled. The only cost will be a one time charge of $5 per flyer to cover the cost of the second flying site insurance for AMA.
Electricity will be available, just need to find the closest outlets. Electric motors only, helicopters and drones (small) will be allowed. Hopefully we will be able to have two separate areas for flying. Please be courteous and limit your time flying if others are waiting. We have approximately 24 flyers signed up to participate.
Prescott High School Gym
In cooperation with our sister club in Prescott, Casa de Aero, we can participate in Indoor Flying in the Prescott High School Gym. The flying schedule is published by Casa de Aero, and membership in Casa de Aero is required. With the climate-controlled gym, it’s a nice way to get out of adverse weather.
