Chino Valley Turn & Burn Pylon Races 2026 Results

What Happened
Early morning at CVF Field brought bright sunshine, no clouds, and no wind! Event Manager Mark Lipp was (as expected) meticulously prepared and owned the event from start to finish. There were two classes, T-28 with six pilots and Unlimited with four. The weather was very cooperative with only light breezes and nothing to prevent all heats in both classes from completing.

The T-28s flew first and set a pretty high bar with respect to excitement, near misses, and close finishes. But then the Unlimited pilots took to the air and pretty much matched the T-28s but at about twice the speed!

All in all, the event was very exciting with no midair collisions and only a couple downed models.
