Chino Valley Flyers Jet Fun Fly 2026

Experience the excitement as turbine and electric ducted fan (EDF) jets fill the skies over Chino Valley! The CVF Jet Fun Fly is a relaxed gathering of jet enthusiasts who come together to fly, share ideas, and enjoy some of the most impressive aircraft in the hobby. From sleek scale military jets to high-performance sport models, you’ll see remarkable flying, beautiful craftsmanship, and plenty of opportunities to talk with fellow pilots. Whether you’re bringing a qualifying jet or simply coming out to watch, everyone is welcome for a weekend of fast flights, friendly conversation, and jet-powered fun.

Registration Fee: There is no specific landing fee but donations are accepted.

General Information
Basic general information.

      • All AMA and club safety rules will be enforced.
      • All pilots must have current AMA and FAA registration.
      • CVF Field is an AMA-recognized FRIA field so stand-alone remote ID gear is not required.
      • Pilots need not be CVF members.
      • A “cash-only” food service will be available from 9:00am to noon.

Schedule: The field will be open for practice until 00:00am while something goes on. It will reopen when that something is complete.

      • 7:00am – Pilot registration opens
      • 7:30am – Pilot Meeting. All pilots [and spotters] must attend.
      • 8:00am – Official flying begins.

General comments on things impacted by the schedule.

Flight Format: This event is open to turbine-powered aircraft and aircraft powered by 90mm or larger EDFs. Models may be of any size  or configuration. This is a fun fly event with no specific flying schedules based on aircraft type or power system. Six pilot stations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
